Bio's
Leonard Ingrande is a conductor, pianist, composer and music educator with more than 25 years experience. He has a Masters of Music in Conducting from The University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Music in Education. Mr. Ingrande has received diplomas from Loma Linda University and attended The Cleveland Institute of Music and the Juilliard School.
Mr. Ingrande is included in the presetigious Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers, and has received the Northwestern University Fellowship, NEH Grant, Eisenhower Grant, Outstanding Young American Award, Scholarships to USC, the Aspen Music Festival. He is also a member of CBDA, CMEA (Past President), Conductor’s Guild, FMCMEA, NCBA, WBA, Association of California Symphony Orchestras.
He has led the Central High Concert Band to numerous Superior and Unanimous Superior ratings. In the past few years, he has developed an award winning Jazz Band, which has continually received superior ratings and becoming an outstanding ensemble in the valley.
Mr. Ingrande tries to address the needs and interests of each individual student, whether it’s learning to read music, improvise jazz, or interpret a given piece. He is in demand as an adjudicator, clinician and guest conductor. He resides in Fresno and has one daughter.

Sarah Pearce is the assistant band director and percussion director at Central High School. She also teaches piano classes as well as general music at Roosevelt Elementary. She has worked for Central Unified since 2010 and has been teaching in Fresno since 2008. She has a BA in Music Education with an emphasis in percussion and a BA in Psychology from CSU, Fresno.
Ms. Pearce directs the Central High Indoor Percussion ensemble which, in 2014, earned multiple 1st place finishes including the SJVCGPR Final and a WGI Regional competition. What you may not know is that it was this very same year that the percussion ensemble was upgraded to the Open Class competition.

Andrew Munoz directs the jazz band, and is the music fundamentals instructor at Central High School. Additionally, he teaches the jazz ensemble at El Capitan Middle School, and vocal, and general music at Steinbeck and Tilley elementary schools. He has worked for Central Unified since 2013. Prior to that, he taught music in the Lemoore Union Elementary School District, as well as in the Poway Unified School District. He holds a Masters of Music degree in Jazz Studies from San Diego State University, and a Bachelors of Arts degree in Music Education from CSU Fresno.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Andrew is a freelance pianist performing with numerous bands in the Central Valley. He is also an active jazz clinician, adjudicator, and private piano instructor.
